Treatment Process

After the laser therapy, our dentist may use tools to remove any remaining plaque and tartar from the gum line. Scaling and root planing helps further eliminate bacteria and create a clean environment for the gums to heal. Lastly, we may make adjustments to your bite to ensure that the teeth come together properly and reduce stress on the gums.
We will provide patients with instructions on how to care for their gums following the LANAP® procedure.
